Firstly, the 6.5mm 123 grain Hollow Point Boat Tail (1727) was designed to fill the gap for a mid-weight, high B.C. bullet for the ever-increasing 6.5mm long-range crowd. Additionally, this bullet is a popular choice for long-range target and Silhouette customers. Finally, keeping the long-range design in mind, we built this bullet with a longer ogive, smaller meplat and improved boat tail to preserve downrange efficiency, enhance accuracy, and reduce wind-drift.
