Firstly, the Hornady Chamfer and Deburring tool is the ideal tool to chamfer the inside and deburr the outside edge of cartridge cases. Best used when they are new or after they have been trimmed.
Above all, this crucial step removes slight imperfections from the case mouth causing increased seating consistency. Additionally, this reduces the chance of shaving material off of a bullet when it is being seated.
