ZeroTech Trace Red Dot H.A.L.O Enclosed Aspherical Reflex Sight 1×28 – 3 MOA

The ZeroTech Trace Red Dot H.A.L.O Enclosed Aspherical Reflex Sight 1×28 is a compact enclosed reflex sight built around a wide aspherical lens, a 3 MOA red dot and a tough 7075 aluminium housing. Designed for use in changing weather and demanding shooting conditions, the ZeroTech Trace H.A.L.O combines a sealed optic body with clear multi-coated optics, Shake Awake technology and a top-loading battery compartment.

The 1x optical system provides unlimited eye relief and field of view, while the wide 28mm x 20mm aspherical lens gives a broad sight picture for quick target acquisition. With 10 brightness settings, including two night vision-compatible settings, the sight can be adjusted for different lighting conditions.

H.A.L.O Enclosed Aspherical Lens Design

The H.A.L.O, or Heavy-duty Aspherical Lens Optic, uses an enclosed design to protect the optical system from external conditions. Its aspherical lens is designed to provide a wide and clear sight picture while helping reduce optical distortion.

The fully multi-coated lens provides clear viewing, while the enclosed housing offers additional protection compared with an open reflex sight design. This makes the ZeroTech H.A.L.O red dot sight suitable for shooters looking for an enclosed red dot optic with a compact overall profile.

3 MOA Red Dot with 10 Brightness Settings

The 3 MOA red dot provides a defined central aiming point for close and medium-range shooting. Ten brightness levels allow the dot intensity to be adjusted according to ambient light, including two lower settings for use with compatible night vision equipment.

Combined with the 1x optical system, the sight allows both eyes-open shooting with unlimited eye relief and no fixed eye position behind the optic.

Shake Awake and Long Battery Life

The ZeroTech Trace H.A.L.O features a motion-sensor system with Auto Sleep and Shake Awake functions. When the sight is inactive, it enters sleep mode to reduce battery consumption. Movement activates the sight again when required.

A top-loading CR2032 battery compartment allows the battery to be replaced without removing the optic from its mount. This means the sight can remain in position during a battery change, helping avoid unnecessary disturbance to the existing zero.

Battery life is rated at up to 50,000 hours on a mid-level brightness setting.

7075 Aluminium Construction

The H.A.L.O is constructed from 7075 aluminium, providing a strong and durable optic housing. The sight is rated as waterproof, shockproof and fog proof for use across a range of weather and operating conditions.

With an operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C and a weight of approximately 78 grams, the ZeroTech Trace offers a compact enclosed reflex sight option without adding excessive weight.

Shield RMSc Footprint and Picatinny Mount

The ZeroTech Trace H.A.L.O uses the Shield RMSc footprint, allowing compatibility with suitably configured mounting systems. A Picatinny rail adapter is supplied and fitted, allowing the sight to be mounted directly to compatible Picatinny rails.

The combination of the RMSc footprint and supplied Picatinny mount gives the sight flexibility across different compatible firearm platforms.
