Vortex Crossfire II 2 MOA Solar Green Dot is the updated 2026 iteration of Vortex’s popular entry-level red dot, now featuring a green reticle, solar backup, and motion activation. It is designed to be a simple, durable, and versatile optic for everything from close-range drills to steel targets at distance.

At its core is a 2 MOA green dot. For many shooters, green offers superior contrast in bright outdoor environments compared to red, making the dot easier to acquire quickly. The sight is built around Vortex’s Auto D-TEC Technology, which uses a solar panel to detect ambient light and automatically draw power from the sun when conditions are bright enough. This extends the effective battery life, supplementing the CR2032 battery to reach a total run time of 150,000 hours. When light drops, the system seamlessly switches back to battery power.
