The RIX Optics Pocket K2 Thermal Monocular is a lightweight handheld thermal monocular built for hunting, wildlife observation, vermin control, security, pest management and outdoor use in all lighting conditions. Compact enough to fit in a pocket yet packed with advanced thermal imaging technology, the RIX Pocket K2 Thermal Monocular delivers crisp thermal images, fast detection and dependable performance day or night.

Featuring a 256×192 VOx uncooled thermal sensor with a highly sensitive NETD of less than 25mK, the Pocket K2 detects even the smallest temperature differences, providing excellent image clarity in rain, fog, darkness and other challenging environments. Combined with a 50Hz refresh rate, moving targets appear smooth and natural, making tracking easier.

The 9mm F1.0 objective lens offers a wide 19.4° × 14.6° field of view, giving an impressive 37.3-yard viewing width at 100 yards. This generous viewing angle allows you to scan larger areas quickly without constantly moving the monocular, helping you spot more wildlife or game.

With a 1.7× optical magnification and up to 6.8× total magnification using the 1–4× digital zoom, the Pocket K2 is equally suited to scanning nearby woodland, open fields and wider landscapes. It also provides a detection range of up to 468 metres (512 yards), making it ideal for locating heat signatures at distance.

Viewing is comfortable thanks to the bright 800×600 OLED display, delivering sharp contrast and detailed thermal images. The adjustable -5D to +5D diopter allows users to fine-tune the image to their eyesight without needing glasses, while the 13.5mm eye relief provides comfortable extended viewing.

Capture every sighting with the built-in photo and video recording function. Images are saved in JPG format, videos in MP4, with 32GB of internal storage providing plenty of space for recordings. A built-in microphone records audio alongside video, making it ideal for documenting hunting trips, wildlife observations and field surveys.

Integrated Wi-Fi connectivity allows the Pocket K2 to connect directly to the RIX+ App on Android and iOS devices. Stream live thermal images to your smartphone, transfer recordings wirelessly and keep your thermal monocular updated with the latest firmware.

Designed for demanding outdoor conditions, the IP67 waterproof rating protects the Pocket K2 against heavy rain, dust and harsh weather, while its operating temperature of -20°C to +50°C ensures dependable performance throughout the seasons.

Power comes from a replaceable 18650 rechargeable battery, providing up to 6 hours of continuous use, with USB-C external power support allowing extended operation using a power bank when required.
