Ase Utra SL5i Black Sound Moderator W/O Muzzle Brake
The Ase Utra SL5i-BL Black Sound Moderator is a compact, fast-attach sound moderator designed for upto .30 calibre and .300 Blackout rifles, with compatibility across a range of BoreLock muzzle brake and flash hider mounts. It is well suited to bolt-action rifles where a short, lightweight moderator is preferred without adding unnecessary length to the rifle.
Manufactured by Ase Utra, the SL5i-BL combines black steel with 300-series stainless steel construction and is fully welded for strength and durability. The compact design provides effective sound reduction while also helping to reduce recoil and muzzle flash.
Compact BoreLock Sound Moderator
The SL5i-BL attaches using an Ase Utra BoreLock muzzle brake or flash hider mount, allowing the moderator to be fitted and removed quickly without permanent modification to the rifle.
Please note: This model is supplied without a muzzle brake or mounting device. An appropriate Ase Utra BoreLock muzzle brake or flash hider with the correct thread must be purchased separately. The SL5i-BL is not compatible with the standard Hiper flash hider.
Sound Reduction
On a .308 Winchester rifle, the Ase Utra SL5i-BL provides approximately 25–26 dB sound reduction, measured at 1 metre to the left of the muzzle. As well as reducing muzzle blast, the moderator helps to minimise recoil and muzzle flash for a more controlled shooting experience.
