Hausken JAKT JD151 Sound Moderator 6.8mm – .260 / 6.5mm
The Hausken JAKT JD151 Sound Moderator is a compact and lightweight over-barrel moderator designed for hunting rifles chambered in 6.5mm and .260 calibre. With a 50mm diameter, 151mm overall length and a weight of just 220g, the JD151 provides a practical balance between sound reduction, size and weight for hunting use.
The Hausken JAKT JD151.2 is made from aluminium and is designed for centre-fire rifle cartridges. It provides a stated noise reduction of 23 dB, helping to reduce the report of the rifle when used with suitable ammunition and rifle configurations.
With 84mm extending over the barrel and a 67mm forward extension, the Hausken JD151 keeps its overall profile relatively compact while providing effective sound moderation. The internal thread specification is 18×1.
This 6.5mm sound moderator is suitable for hunting rifles using .26, .260 and .264 calibre ammunition. It is specifically designed for non-magnum applications and is not suitable for magnum calibres.
