The ASE Utra Heat Cover AU895 is designed to fit Jet-Z CQB and SL7 series sound moderators, helping to reduce heat mirage while protecting the moderator from knocks and scratches during use. Whether you’re target shooting, zeroing your rifle or out in the field, this heat cover helps maintain a clearer sight picture by minimising the distortion caused by a hot sound moderator.
Manufactured from a hard-wearing combination of 1000D Cordura® and Nomex®, the AU895 is built to withstand demanding shooting conditions while remaining lightweight and secure. The black finish gives a clean, low-profile appearance that complements both hunting and sporting rifles.
By reducing the visible heat shimmer rising from the moderator, the cover helps shooters maintain a consistent view through riflescopes over longer shooting sessions. It also provides an extra layer of insulation, making it easier to handle or remove a warm moderator once shooting has finished. ASE Utra recommends the cover primarily for bolt-action rifles and moderate firing strings.
