Livens Gun Shop was first established in 1850 at 172 High Street, Burton upon Trent, trading as traditional ironmongers. In those early days, we supplied the community with hardware, gardening tools, bicycles, sporting goods, locksmith services, and even blacksmith work. Alongside these trades, we began offering firearms and ammunition, planting the roots of what would become one of the most respected gun shops in Britain.
By the 1950s, Livens had grown and relocated to our current home at 101 High Street, Burton upon Trent, where we have proudly remained ever since. With more than 170 years of service, we are recognised today as one of the oldest and longest-established retail gun shops in the United Kingdom.
